I got my first girlfriend at 26 and she is my wife now. So, obviously, I can't say tons about the topic. Because I have no experience in the matter, I have always been intrigued by what could happen between two people who came together by choice, shared a life and then end up doing something that can hurt the other person. Especially, after long marriages which is a trend on exponential increase now. Abuse - yes, that's a different ballgame but otherwise, I don't get it. Maybe it's the Indian culture, its orthodoxy which says marriage is full of compromises. You do everything in your capacity to keep the wheels together. Doesn't west believe in that?
